"Childhood Bullying May Lead to Social, Health Issues in Adulthood" by CBS news
Summary:
Bullying has lasting affects on the victims. These affects often are psychiatric and physical health problems that occur in their early adult years. This article proposes that something must be done to stop bullying by helping build the victim's self-esteem, helping them heal from emotional pain, and help them manage anger.
Application:
For our class project I hope to start a campaign for anti-bullying. I want to make a difference and create a way for victims to seek refuge. Bullying is clearly a major social issue in the United States. By campaigning against it, I hope that people will have the courage to stand up for what is right.
